how long has killzone 2 been in development? I remember seeing that "ingame footage" from what seems like 2 years ago. Doesn't seem wise to release a system without any surefire hits for it.

skate is so good, but the demo takes forever to load

lol PS3 has basically dug itself in to a deep hole it can't get out of...MGS4 or not its going to take a miracle. It has been almost 2 years and still nothing decent is on the PS3, and every game that is worth a shit on the PS3 is on the Xbox 360 and is generally better in terms of framerate and gameplay. I'm not a fan boy, i owned a PS2 which imo was better than the original Xbox, But this time around, Microsoft got it right and Sony shit the bed.


Also Skate is hard as fuck, i gave up after about 10 mins. The new Tony Hawk game is awful.

the pro evo 2008 demo is up aswell now, glitchy as fuck when i scored the dude runs off to the side todo the normal celebration, but he doesnt, he keeps running then runs through the concrete wall into glitch hell and outside the stadium texture zone

now back to halo and not POS3 the ign review said the single player on legandary or the one under that should take about 10-12 hours but the 4 player co-op should brign it to 5 hours if everyone knows the levels really well

If anything theyre a victim of their own bullshit, people were expecting to see games that would dump on the 360 capabilites from a large height and all theyre getting is ports with reduced frame rate.

No doubt the devs need time to get some of the hyped games out but how many people are gonna go running to buy a ps3 just because of MGS4 and Killzone 2?

the titles you mentioned were realeased in the past few months. at least when the 360 launched it had some good games that followed within a few months. Call of Duty 3, and Gears of War to name a few. As for the PS3 what is there.... as far as I can tell develepers are still working on ps2 games from the commercials I see.

Mind you all of this is just observation as I don't own either system.

I probably will. I'm not a big console gamer, so there's not much point in me getting a 360. Since I hardly play console games, I want to get the PS3 over the 360 even inf MGS4 comes out for the 360 because I don't like the 360 controller at all, and the PS2/3 controller is just perfect for me.

ps3 controller is just horrible, the dual sticks are just an after thought of an ps1 joypad so they are in an awkward place.

maybe its cause im very very tired but so far halo 3 sucks ass. the first map is pretty boring the arbiater is dumb as holy hell. with in the first 5 mintues he was running into the walls. and the graphics arent that good maybe when im not tired ill chance my mind.

lol typical. Im not even going to bother getting the game until i can just walk into a store casually and get it off the shelf without fighting people.

i had to wait inline for about half an hour. but it was worth it for the free shit. some people are crazy, a couple of people had the bestbuy employees open the case to make sure the game wasnt scratched. you know how there where pic's of the limited case scratching the disc.

Yeah a lot of people have been stung with scratched discs. If they had made the little nub a little taller there would have been no problems. =/

Been reading some impressions its amazing how peoples views on this game differ, some people say its an amazing looking game, others that it looks like halo 2 with a slight upgrade upgrade. People are actually complaining about the covenant weapons being too powerful..in the last 2 games they were pretty weak, now that theyre effective they want them made weak again? stupid:

Suppose its just a case of not being able to please everyone though.
