Really? I don't ever remember saying that. What I did say was that IMO blood is an important part of the realism of a WAR game. I just won't be able to take it seriously when someone gets shot in the head and just falls over w/out a drop of blood anywhere. If thats not a problem for you, great. That's YOU. For ME, it's a problem. Now that doesn't mean that I won't atleast try the demo. Hell, it's FREE.

Kraut Killer, are you saying that people don't bleed?? Even if they have thick clothing on, there will atleast be a hole(which 2015 already said MOH:AA will NOT show), and after they lay there for a bit, there WILL be a blood stain on their clothes and possibly even a puddle of blood on the ground. As for getting hit in the head, the Kennedy assination video does indeed prove that there will be a blood spray, and also bits of brain and bone matter as well. I'm sure SOF2 will show us how blood and bullet wounds CAN indeed be implemented realistically, and still have detailed textures. And yes I know that it was overdone in SOF, but Raven has already said that they will tone it down in SOF2 to make it more realistic.

I'm not saying people don't bleed, I'm saying that, aside from the whole blood argument being moot, realisticly, through my somewhat limited knowledge,I have never been shot before as I said, when you watch old newsreels you don't say streams of blood spurting out of a persons body. Most games use blood in an over the top manner, and it is almost impossible to realisticly portray such effects in games. Aside from memory limitations, which might keep us from seeing a bloodstain on some one's shirt growing larger,gun shot wounds are static, which too detracts from realism, let's say that the wound from a BAR and the wound from a .45 are on a Kraut. In real life they'd look dramatically different, but in a game they'd just have to use the same texture. Also the pool of blood around a body is too unrealistic. A large pool wouldn't form around some smelly little Hun if he was shot in the head, BUT for memory constraints, do you really want them to waste time and delay the release of the game for minute crap such as this? So, the question I'm putting forth to you is: do you want blood for realism, or because it just looks neat-o? And by the way, Kennedy was shot in the head, that's not blood spray from his artery, that's his head exploding. He got hit somewhere between two to three times, by at least two gunmen, unless you believe the "magic bullet". Man... those little icons for the posts are gay.

Blade, I dont believe I fit into any of these categories, and neither do any of the other people you have called idiots, but you may by your limited vocabulary and inability to use any other word as an insult and realise that if you looked around you would have found many a thread on the topic of blood with an extensive list of why it is being left out. And by the way, I have every right to post in any thread if I wish to do so and voice my opinion, just as you have by starting this thread, even though it could have been avoided if you did some homework, and by the way Polaris I'd say without a doubt that some other person would have come along and posted something else in either thread and kept it going, the only reason these posts continue to be around is because of peoples inability to realise the fact that there will be no blood. I post this because I know there will be more posts in this topic because its a never ending debate. This thread will close and a new person to the forums will bring it up again starting the debate once more, it's a vicious circle. Maybe once a person has signed up for these forums they are sent to the QandA section of the website and they can have a look there and see what has already been said in the forums, just an idea.
