If you using MRIC with a router, you will need to forward your ident port (113) to the box running mirc.

Hey, I finally got it to work. I had tried getting on the old channel but it never let me on.

ya uh, I have a router and you know......I have never had a problem

It usually says I connect through my computer ip one I had before the router instead of using the mixed up one I get after the router

Ok, guys update.

I was trying to setup a bot to watch over the irc channel and provide some games( trivial and war ) well , my server that I was running this from, or trying to was klined because of Open proxi. well I dont run a proxy and I know for a fact that all my ports are closed ( wth the execption of 113 and 8080.

They do a check to see if for some reason you have an unsicure proxy which can be an internet menace.

This is why some of you might not be able to join. I am looking in to this and will eather change servers or figure out what to do.

The web is there for people who no nothing about IRC,
Just a fast easy way to get in on the new irc channel or the board.

Yeah I don't wanna really use mIRC. But the web definately is not working for me.

Ok guys, I might be moving this irc server to another host. I don't think its the web interface. I think it has to do with the IRC server provider.

They don't like when you run a web server from your box. They check to see if port 80 , 8080 and a couple of extra ones are open. When they do this they kline you for one hour. My dogbot has been klined for the past couple of days.
