I m just trying teamspeak but how do i say something
i went to setting/key settings//add then i want to have + to whisper to but in dont accept it it says no targets definded can somebody please tell me stap for stap how to bind the keys for talking to axis and allies and... thx |
By whispering your talking to someone direct, more like a one on one conversation. You need to select the person you want to talk to. They also need to be on at the time your trying to talk to them.
Just pick a key to talk, don't worry about whispering right now. |

I personally hve no problems whatsoever with 2.0 but a certain friend of mine has that issue. He can run the client fine but he cant minimize, maximize or close the client without it locking up his pc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Still having this problem their working on a patch M16: Ok today i cant do anything, tomorrow ill try to release a new patch, wich can turn on debugging on the commandline. For the ones that have not checked, try to see is TSclient.log exists in your install dir, and if so, port it here. |
Sparks to da rescue!
I think the XP lockups are the last major bug we havent worked out yet. |
A lil late, but I bought the mic a few days ago, and I'm impressed with it. Ask Jasper the difference in my voice, heh.
Anyways, it's made by Labtec, and runs for $15. Pretty nice mic. BTW: Anyone want to buy a webcam? Logitech Quickcam 3000? heh |

Is it true that TS 2.0 eats alot of bandwidth? normally i had 50 ping on our server with TS 1.5 on...now i have 70 ping with TS 2.0 on...anybody know what i can do about it..
|
Not for me. I have normally 40 - 70 on the AA.COM svr, still in that range. Sure when it's in use it's going to use some bandwith, but it's not going to kill your damn connection.

Thanks to Redsoccerdevil. I installed TS2.0 last evening and chatted with Red. He assisted me in setting it up and it seemed to work fine. Tonite I will reset my Hotkeys to swap between AA.Com Allies and Axis. What I did last eve did not work but I read the How To today and I think I have it figured out. Select to Parent channel, then select the Sub channel. Have not tried it in a game yet, but I should tonite, Kids permitting.
Thanks to Jasper and everyone else for the great documentation and the helpful links. biggrin: |
The way the sub channels work is you must first connect to the parent channel and then you can switch between the sub channels.
My own setup is NUM PAD 2 for the main aa.com gameserver channel and then ALT+A for Allies and ALT+X for Axis. My host is still having hardware issues so the TS server might be down sometimes. AADiC from Planet Tribes has agreed to babysit the server when Im not availble and restart it when nessesary. I want to thank everyone for their paitience so far. When its working right its a friggin blast to use while playing MOH or just for chatting. Its paid up till March 03 so its not going anywhere anytime soon. (Now if we can JUST keep the sum bitch running....) |
Wow do I have questions regarding team speak. First off though,to all those who were on last night. Yes I was on but couldn't get mike to work so I wasn't ignoring anyone. I'll get it working soon.I could here everyone though. First question When playing AA and using team speak is there a way to pull up list of those on teamspaek? Once I start playing, nothing else can "pop up" on my screen. Second question. I have figured out how to do the subchannels but when I push F2 the skins window comes up sometimes. Do I have to hit F2 first then my "key" or can I just hit the 'key"
Last qusetion for now. When trying to test mike I hit the little window and like 5 options came up and only one had windows in the option. Are these option just trail and erroe so to speak? Oh and I use Xp pro 512, ram 1.4 ghz, gforce 4400. I did down load the xp patch also. |
