Road to Pendition had to be the best movie this year. also austin powers 3 was my comedy pick, that fountain scene was fucking hilarious. We were soldiers was good ,but a little below my expectations, braveheart with m16's. Blackhawk down and lord of the rings was released last year, so they don't count, but still superb movie nonetheless. They gotta stop making those cutesy poo squeaky clean teen movies FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! PLEASE!

EDIT: In my town theater (famous players) a general admission ticket costs 6.50cdn biggrin: where they kill you is the food, a regular coke for 4 bucks!

4 bucks...it is like $4.50 here...I just buy a bottle and sneak it in

Yeah they kill ya with the drinks and food... This one time I just went to Burger King and got a burger and fries and stuffed them in my pockets but they caught me with unusually large pockets and a smell of something grilled while I was entering the theater :D

I pay 13.50 to get in.

Large popcorn costs $6.50 I believe.

Large coke is about $5.50.

If you go with a date your lookin at $50 for the night. What a rip. Good thing I don't go on too many dates. ed:

Spiderman, Minority Report and Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, last year but only by 5 days biggrin:

All these movies ROCK.

A cool movie too is Gosford Park. Very nice movie. Interesting plot and tip top acting.

Resident Evil was cool. Not great but entertaining none the less.

Black Hawk Down was good but it felt like the D-Day scene of Saving Private Ryan on a continuous loop for 2 hours. Also wasn't very graphic for a war movie, the book describes the battle much more vividly.

Gotta say I was severly disapointed by Attack of the Clones, 'cept the end with the battle but the love story killed it and at times so did the acting.

Can't wait till November to get my hands on the extended version of Lord of the Rings on DVD.

Spiderman was really tops for a comic-to-movie flick.
