ErichHartmann 05-09-2007 09:55 PM

anti, Those color effects you do. Is that all done when you take it with you camera of sex. Or do you take it into photoshop and redo the color?

Xorcist [USA] 05-10-2007 07:09 AM

Simply put, Anti you know how to make the simplest things look awesome.

Keep posting!

Whatada 05-15-2007 08:39 PM

Went out today and took a bunch of shots around where I live with my very old, very shitty digital camera. Messed with some in photoshop, some got ruined by my shadow, others are just fine. This is the first time I've really gone out and taken pictures. Enjoy I hope.

i love it. it's build like a chyna clit, very solid. the sticky rubber feels good in your hands and everything has a certain feel to it that i like. the customization is awesome, and having it all at your finger tips is a bonus. it does eat batteries very quickly though. oh well.

some shots from it;

it depends. do you want a digital slr or a point and shoot? or do you want to shoot film? personally, i think getting a dslr that's somewhat midrange is the best option. i've seen too many people buy a cheap dslr thinking they will just play around with it but instead get pretty heavily into it, and wish they would have bought something a bit more professional.,

dslr? scuse me for not knowing anythings.

anti 05-17-2007 06:44 PM

digital slr. google or wikipedia single lens reflex for more information. it's basically a film camera but digitalized. you might be better off buying a point and shoot.

anti 05-17-2007 09:22 PM

With the Nikon D80 and D40x out (dSLR), you can find D50's and even D70/s's out there for cheap (well relatively cheap - couple hundred).

A point and shoot is good, but youll come to regret it if you feel like you want to keep up with photography (and most do). Theres something about taking a good shot and "emoting" with it that fills a mans nutsack with pride.

My recommendation - grab a D50 on the cheap (you shouldn't pay more than 400 for it - dont let any shithead on CraigsList tell you otherwise), and then get a 50MM 1.8 lens (plus w/e stock lens they got). Also, I have a photography book that I got when I first got my camera, and god damn if it aint the fucking bee knees in explaining photography BEYOND "Point the camera and shoot".

I sold my camera awhile ago (mechanism on the inside broke, and cost more to repair than I paid for it), and am shopping for a new one. . .but it will either be a D50 or a D80 (more than likely a D80, and I am itching to pull the trigger on one right now). I'd stay away from the D40 - you cant use older lenses that dont have the autofocus on the LENS itself; what that means is that since the D40 doesnt have this feature (on the BODY of the camera), any lens you buy MUST have AF on the lens, or you're stuck manually focusing the lens, which defeats one of the "convenience" purposes of a digital camera.

In the end though, the camera body itself doesn't matter much (well it does, but lets assume your not buying a KONAN or a SUNY from Algeria and are buying one of theig four - Canon, Nikon, Pentax or Sony), it's the lenses you buy and your own learnedness that will make all the difference. beer:

Milla 05-22-2007 05:19 PM

I really want a Canon Rebel. Along with about a hundred other expensive tings i want/ need.

My computer is probably what i am dumping money into next after i get a new deck in my car.

- Comp upgrade ftw.

- My Canon A610 ftw. For a point and shoot camera it is kick ass. Macro mode on it is really really sharp.

No way, you can get a good dSLR for a nice sum of money man - like 500 bucks for a camera and lens.

And thats new!

BlackJackal 05-25-2007 02:03 PM

i'm interested in a d70 with roughly a 28-90 lens. i have a 28-90 lens for my n75, not sure if it would fit a d70. if it would, i probably would invest in a telephoto.

if you have a nikon slr which i think you do it will fit, but you wont have auto focus and i think you'll stilol have to set the aperature (which might fuck up the light meter). keep in mind the 1.6x crop from film to dslr, 28 isn't really that wide when you factor it in.

Just got the D80 in the mail. . .so far I'm really liking it - looking to head out to San Fran and the coast this weekend to test it out. . .

BlackJackal 06-01-2007 07:13 PM

dude seriously? i'm pretty set on buying a d70, so much cheaper since the d80 came out. i was talking to a guy at a camera store i frequent, and he said something about a d70 body being around 400, and i could use my 28-90 lens i use on my N75, and he said that you wouldn't loose autofocus and actually would increase the focal point. i was asking this cause of what anti said about interchanging a film slr lense onto a dslr, i could be mistaken.

TGB! 06-02-2007 01:23 PM

Just fucking around with the D80. . .mini-trip postponed - lost wallet on freeway - rolleyes:
