thanks, man! that turntable was my dad's like 20 or 30 years ago, he gave it to me, so now i can finaly listen to what remains of his record collection that didnt get thrown away happy:

Went up to my cottage this weekend and Wake Wars was happenin on our lake, I only managed to get a couple shots becuase I couldn't get that close, and I got some other shots to.

Looking at the cars in his shot I'm certain he just had a slow shutter speed. But it's still an amazing photo.

yea if you have it on long exposure you can get lightning a lot easier, if you are lucky 2 or 3 bolts in the same shot.

it's still luck to pount your camera in a random spot and actually get a strike. the shutter was around 30 seconds or so, i just sat there and kept pressing it over and over again; i waited a good 30 minutes to get something.

I tried to get some strikes down on sanibel but was unsucessful.

got 2 lightning strike pics here in NM along with many other good shots. Ill post when I get back or when I can.
