Yes I did, briefly last night. Read a little a about the batteries. Makes you wonder....... Maybe we are not alone.

Bleuachdu 10-22-2002 04:58 PM

Yeah, its all very interesting. I'm going to look into a lot of this stuff further. Really makes you wonder. I'm sad this thread turned to shit, could've been great.

Hmmm, weird. However, that aircraft is stupid - thats just a model of a bird and they hype it up to be some kind of aircraft. As you see already by the stones, ancient people drew images of ancient mammals carved in stone.

As for that metal tubing - i think thats where their incorrect carbon dating lets them down, once again - its too innacurate.

I have no doubt that a human made that battery, why not - they were just as intelligent as we are today, if not more.

Just wanted to point something out.

I tried to load the page last night but it wouldn't so i'm looking at it for the first time now.

It says:

"The Bible tells us that God created Adam and Eve just a few thousand years ago, by some fundamentalist interpretations."

What I was taught is that the stories in the Bible are not to be taken literally. The story of Adam and Eve is supposed to be an explanation to the way it happened, not how it happened.

Don't take this and me as a religious freak, because i'm not. I went to a catholic so I learnt a lot about this stuff. Just something to think about. A lot of people take the thing in the bible literally, when they shouldn't. If you take everything literally, you could find something wrong in every story. Like WTF? A talking snake etc. They are only meant to give an idea.

intrestedviewer 10-22-2002 11:49 PM

actually a lot of ancient storys of the begining or how we came to be resemble the story of adam and eve, it has to have some kind of truth. twas the aliens oOo: how do u explain the footprints that are fossilized?

Tripper 10-22-2002 11:59 PM

Yup, totally agree with you Ninty, I was talking about this a couple nights ago...Most of the bible is just metaphorical....

However, in most religons and ancient cultures, there is always a story of a great flood happening in the past. Could this be Noah?

I can't. Either we can't date stuff very well, or there was someone or something there there that long ago.

Doesn't necessarialy have to be human, but it also doesn't have to be alien. What about some sort of dinosaur? Can't remember the date form the fossil so I can't compare it to when the dinosaurs were around, but it could have been either an early species, or a desendant . It could have been a water creature, because life started in the sea, and then evolved to land, thins could have been an early attempt at a sea creature to walk on land. etc. I don't know, i'm no expert, just some suggestions.

As for the other things, a lot of them are explainable. The big balls? Whats so special about that. Some guy just had a lot of time on his hands and decided to make some big ass bowling balls.

DJBUCKSHOT 10-23-2002 01:31 PM

Thats quite an achievement lol... have you ever tried making a ball of rock lately?
