Hey mikecs18, nice Mopar you got there! A buddy of mine has a '69 Charger that he's restoring now. I'm working on this now....('66 Fairlane)

Not mine, but close enough. The paint is messed up just like Butters' and it's even older than his. ('89) I do have a CD player in it though.

Believe it or not, you can build yourself one for around 30K. It's no different than buying a new car. |

No, i'm not in any car club but alot of my buddies have 60's Muscle cars. Lets see, My good bud that has the Charger also has a '71 440 Duster that he races on weekends. He's a Mopar nut and is currently building a small block for another friend of mine who putting it in a '66 Valiant. Another guy i hang with has a '80 Vette that he wants to part with so he can get a 70 442 Olds. Another guy has a '86 Mustang GT that he's hoppin' up over the winter, another dude has a '69 Road Runner and he's also has a '73 Charger that has been sitting around his yard for awhile. Oh yeah, my other buddy has a '69 Mustang Mach 1 that he's restoring right now and my luckiest friend bought a '67 Shelby GT 350 Mustang about 3 years ago for just under 20K. The car is all original and very clean.....he made a wise choice to buy that car because they are getting rare.
Where i live, during the summer, we all gather at the local cruise spot on Tuesday nights and check out all the cars. It's a blast and it's nice to see so many people bringing the 60's Muscle back to life. |
hey ninty9 is that car any good? iv been thinking of asking my neibor if i can buy hers because it was her husbands & he took off & in 2 years hasent come back for it so i figer she will sell it cheap.[/quote:9e734]
I haven't had many problems with it. Its been a god car, even with 215,000kms on it. Pretty good mileage too. Although there are a few diferent engines. Mines not turbo. Heres a forum. You might beable to ask questions there. Most of the guys there are helpful.
