I remeber, they said Spearhead was gonna have the zoom on the guns and bashing. Musta canceled that zoom thing.

Bashing
I would also like to see the "bashing" removed and replaced with the "squint" mod. I never use bashing either, but it would be nice to have a little better aim at a distance.

More than likely, this is carried in a .SCR file, not a .TIK file, since it's a static weapon modification. The string to start the animation is in the .TIK files, so I'll see if I can trace em to any .SCR files that include a bashing string.
