Dunno, would be nice to see a moh game focusing on the russians and germans, then again seeing as the medal of honor is an american award i don't see it happening without some bs storyline of you playing an american in russia. oOo:[/quote:bc6e8]

you are a crewman from the only "Doolitle Raid" plane to land in Russia.
They are flying you to the caucasus, so you can go through Iran, and eventually back into the US (the was a real Iran supply line for lend-lease).
The plane gets jumped my Messerschmidts and teh pilot crash lands behind enemy lines...

i wouldn't mind gunning down russians as the germans or vice versa. americans/british as enemies in the sp game is too pi for ea

what about Medal of Honor: Underground? you played a French woman in that.
They should make a game from the German perspective, and your allies actually speak real German and there are English subtitles, which is actually what AA and SH did well. Should be called, Iron Cross or Iron Cross: Fortress Europe.
and talking about the platoon game, that was an awful waste of a license of the best film ever!!! M16:

Ea make a game from the "evil" germans persepective or should i say "nazi" perspective as ea seemingly believes even the wehrmact were nazi's oOo: .

Theres no chance of that ever happenning.

01-24-2003 01:52 PM

wouldn't sell well in germany either, we all know how paranoid they are about nazis. reminds me of the simpsons episode where the german guy quickly says "nothing happens" when asked about 1939-1945

Bartlett 01-24-2003 01:56 PM

that's the problem. It would be great if a new developer made a new game showing the German perspective, which actually did justice to the men who died on all sides in the war, not some lame-ass one-man-America won the game by herself-game (not saying USA did nothing, just saying most games only portray America and Germany as the Allies and Axis)

Zoner 01-24-2003 01:57 PM

HAW HAW! I love that!

"Vee Germans are not all zmiles unt zunshine..."

Word has it (in the thread in Gen Discussion) that the sequel will cross-over Lt. Powell and Sgt. Barnes backstories and will continue in the ETO. So, a Pacific Theatre game will hafta wait.

if we had an edit button I could amend that stupid mistake which is clearly visible

01-24-2003 01:58 PM

hey come on, there was grillo in the first one, and then those 4 brit guys out of nowhere...and those russians in berlin who stay behind while you kill everyone yourself...

Bartlett 01-24-2003 02:00 PM

lol, think you just proved my point angel:

01-24-2003 02:10 PM

fuck ETO I wanna play as the Marines

01-24-2003 02:11 PM

it's hard for most americans to understand since theyre too afraid to teach us about ww2 in school

Bartlett 01-24-2003 02:15 PM

we get taught about the boring stuff and a few details of interesting stuff, I actually know more than my history teacher about the battles of WW2 and she's a Doctor in history hake:
I could make up a laod of divisions and casualty numbers in an essay in an essay and she's believe it

Bartlett 01-24-2003 02:17 PM

aaaargghh!!! I need edit button!!
