if there's a group of dolphins you don't have to worry about sharks.
sharks are mostly solitary and are in ones twos or threes no match for a group of faster, and smarter dolphins. Also you don't have to worry about if you get a cramp, dolphins are famous for towing swimmers-in-trouble back to shore (scientists think that the dolphin may mistake the thrashing for another dolphin in trouble and helps the person)

Well u c.. since i live in New York City, i dont really have any classes to take swimming and private tutoring, whcih costs around 200-400, is really expensive so i dont' really bother about sports, i'm born wit videogames, thas y i dont really care about those swimming and basketball but since i wanna join the Navy, i mind as well take swimming in my high school..new experience for me freak:

P.S. Stryker - I know now there is nothing to be scared of Ive seen pic's of dolphines killing a great white before, My dad was just trying to scare me at the time....Sad to say he did

yeah, the safest place in the ocean is behind a platoon of dolphins biggrin:

The sharks are some pretty cool stuff. They dont bother me that much, its the barracudas that scare me. They can be pretty aggressive. Nurse sharks are pretty docile. You can pick lobsters out of the same holes as them, as long as you dont piss them off. Sharks typicall dont want anything to do with people. Most shark attacks happen because people are stupid - i.e. surfing/swimming in feeding areas.

Yeah, they have alot of cudas in Filipino waters, but I've never seen one.

I'm not saying you, Chavez in general, but what about swimming is difficult that people can't do it? I mean, treading water, the backfloat, all that crap, etc. I can understand those being kinda difficult. But what about just going into water and using your arms and legs? I never really got how people couldn't do it.
