lol

"Well we know you can have it working on a jeep, thats been done, what.. a year ago?"

It was said so i wouldn't have to reply -that it is usable for those who might ask. I don't know you personally RUNGSI but i can debate the fact that your manners may need some work. Just a thought:)

No hard feelings RUNGSI Everyone has their days.

Nice

Very nice change on the snowy park map. I like it.

You can follow suit with some other "modders" around here and show the pics and then never release it.

MPowell1944 04-11-2003 02:26 PM

Well, considering that this map conversion is a ways from being complete, I'll just ignore your second comment.

RUNGSI 04-11-2003 02:42 PM

I guess i came off little unclear, I ment people want the .30 cal working.
Well we cant use it unless you attach it to the jeep.
mark and I made that working a year ago. (thats what I ment)
Well, thats good an all, but wouldnt we all rather have a bipod version like the mg42 set up?
I guess what I ment was, we still need it standing alone, and I am working on a new version for BoB mod.

BrunoGesche 04-11-2003 05:44 PM

.

I already had it standing alone and mounted to the wall, just thought it would look better on the jeep. I didn't use the tik that you might be thinking of. The only thing that need's work is the skc. It has poor third person animations, in stock form anyway. Let me know if you need some info on the mounted version i have.

RUNGSI 04-11-2003 06:08 PM

well you can have it standing alone, the fact is the models origin is set for a player to use while on the jeep, so the aim is off.

Thats what I was trying to say.

Sorry if I came off like an asshole, I have been under a lot of pressure with the mod.

MPowell1944 04-11-2003 06:57 PM

I apologize myself. Took your statement the wrong way. I know exactly what you mean about the 30 cal meant to be used on the jeep. I thought about working on the model itself to eliminate the pole it stands on. But overall, throwing it on the jeep is much easier. Thanks for clarifying that.

Even though you and I dont get along at all, I still know what it means to respect work. This, I respect.

Also, just as a matter of interest, RUNGSI, your Avatar, is that an actual Photo of a German Paratrooper, or is it a screenshot of a skin?

Kirchhof -Night Version

Regarding the night version of Kirchhof and the way it will look. I'd like some suggestions on farplane and color. We can keep the same distance or extend. I personally think a slightly darker map with an extended farplane would be ideal to compensate. Below you will find an example of rgb values inside the map, not intended to be implemented, but will give an idea of the color tint. I would suggest a small amount of color added, not what is shown. I would just like to get some more opinions on the atmosphere before releasing a beta version.
