I can't believe 95% of you went out and ruined this fucking thread. Roger Neilson was a great man, an innovator in the hockey world, who battled several forms of cancer over the past few years. He was 100x the man any one of us will ever be and you guys treat his memory like a fucking snotrag. You should be fucking ashamed of yourselves!

Even if you had no idea who he was (and apparently most of you ignorant cocklickers don't), you still could've shown some respect. FUCK, I hate this board sometimes!

Un-fucking-believeable.

Zap. USMC 06-22-2003 11:33 AM

Jesus Christ, some people don't worship fucking hockey, GET OVER IT! Shit, I'm AMERICAN and I don't watch Football, big fucking deal! Just because we don't know who this guy was, doesn't mean we're "ignorant", you retards.

Oh yeah FUCK YOU Pyro, you cock sucking child molester. I'm sick of your anti-american insults, you piece of trash. In case you didn't know, this is an AMERICAN forum, so how about you leave, since you hate America so much.

---

RIP "Roger Neilson", even though I didn't know you...

I could make a joke about this guy inventing the Neilson rating system, but I won't because too many people have already screwed this tribute. I don't watch hockey, but apparently this man was a great coach and role model and for that I give my condolences to his family and friends.

Innoxx 06-22-2003 12:10 PM

Yeah. I don't worship George W. Bush, in fact at times I downright dislike him. If he got assasinated tomorrow I'd be the first guy to send my condolences. Respect for your elders shows character people.

Short Hand 06-22-2003 02:23 PM

RIP. forever more.......

Pyro 06-22-2003 02:36 PM

ah Zap...who gives a shit if you don't know who the guy is...

instead of idiots asking who is was a thousand times...maybe ask a little about him instead of having everyone spam it around

not my fault it was mainly the americans...

Just because you don't know who he is there's no need to post "Who?" or similar comments, really.

No matter who he is this post was meant to honour him as he has died. I certainly don't know who he is but I wouln't see it necessary to post that here and then quote-spam the thread. Does anyone else?

I hope he rests in peace.

06-22-2003 03:54 PM

how can he rest in piece with so many people in the world talkign about him? let him rest already jeez.

But you also have to remember that we're EXPECTED to know who this guy is, or we are "ignorant".

I was out of town for the past 4 days but I happened to catch this while I was walking by a TV in Southern Alberta. It really shocked me. Roger was such a great guy. He even received the Order of Canada, which is the highest civillian honour of all. Rest in peace Roger, I'll miss you.

Zoner 06-22-2003 05:42 PM

...on that note, this thread will R.I.P.
