I remember one night I suddenly woke out of a sound sleep to see a ghostly figure shrouded in white
swaying menacingly before me!....imagine my relief when I realized the figure was in fact my own
raging bone-on sticking up under my own sheet!.....still, it makes you wonder tho, eh?

That's the thing with living in brit, the places here are old. Someone on this thread said there was an old house of 170 years, around here that would be considered a new building...
Some of the houses around here date back to medieval times, I'm within walking distance of a castle built in 1060's and a Cathederal that was built in 604, even the road outside my house was built by the Romans. This pic probably gives you the best idea of what it's like.

There's also an old Napoleonic fort with loads of underground tunnels etc if there was any place that was haunted it would be my area. I usually walk around my area at night if I'm coming back from my friends house or have to go to work early, I walk past graveyards that are probably 500 years old but I never see anything spooky eek:

That's very interesting Bunny, I really respect Great Britian for that and someday I'll fly over and visit because the history is so rich.

imported_Fluffy_Bunny 12-31-2003 02:20 AM

I'm just wondering why such an old place dosen't have any ghosts at night eek:

I can't imagine a ghost being in a modern apartment block.

Are there any notoriously spooky places where you guys live?

Pyro 12-31-2003 02:26 AM

I can't say I do, but it would be cool if there were.

Well, you see, in Canada we have this igloo who's owner knew this guy who
in turn knew a man who's wife got killed by a polar bear (we have many of
those up here eh) and haunted their igloo until the husband could no longer
take it and commited suicide, this ghost in turn haunted the original guy for
three years and then got tired of waiting and p0rked him in the ass until he
died as well. Now they all haunt the igloo together. They were affectionately
called the Three Muskeghosts.
