I really don't know why the US as a whole doesn't pay much attention to hockey. Of the Original 6 teams in the NHL, 4 of them were based in the US (Boston, Detroit, Chicago, and New York).

It's not like the US started getting teams in the 1980s or something. rolleyes:

US Hockey today is a great organization. More peeps south of the 49th parallel should wake up and see what a great game they're missing.

I love the game and it is HUGE around here (Detroit area) most of the northern states are into hockey some of the southern ones too (the ones that get the retirees from the north) but it has a long way to go
