So there's an actual bullet in dummy rounds in that states? All i've seen are silver dummy rounds with no bullet, and the tip pressed off at the top where the bullet would be. Actually now that I think of it, i ahve sen pictures of what you describe, but i've never used them. The dummy rounds we use are just as good or better since theres no bullet at all, no primer, all it is is an empty casing pretty much.

This is as close of an example that i could find. The training round has an orange rubber tip so it won't be confused with a "live" round......and of course, it doesn't fire. These rounds are good trainers because they can be cycled through a semi-auto. Without the tip, they wouldn't be able to be fed through the gun.
