MrLevinstein 05-07-2004 04:16 PM

Tripps-Did you vote for GM because of Holden they are owned or something by gm maybe a partner ship idk what their deal is.

And to the guy who says Mopar rules. They havent made a decent car since 1972. With the exception of the viper...

mopar sucked from 78 till 88. all other years they owned.

and for the mitsubishi guys mopar owns them and lamborgini. well major stock in them for sure.

Milla 05-07-2004 05:30 PM

My dad has a durango, i love that thing its a beast. A mechanic i work with has a plymoth laser AWD/ turbo charged, and he eats domestics like its no ones business.

There are like 3 or 4 makes of Mini.....Rover, Austin, Morris and Mini Cooper...They're all pretty much the same, except they're made by different companies.

Levinstein - I didn't vote. Holden do have some kind of partnership with GM, I'm not sure to what extent, but I do know that V8 Holden's engines are based on American Muscle cars....I think most prominently, some model of Chevrolet.

I'm not totally sure about all this, though.

Argh! Must be the fact that i have had them all around me through my whole life that fucks that up for me..
Nothings as unsexy as a 900 to me m8.. annoy:

m8? LOL......

Well, must be an acquired taste. I grew up with Holdens all around me, my family have owned nearly every bloody model, and I still love them to death.

Aye, sorry bout that "m8".
Tis a bad habit i picked up down in England..

I drive a 1995 GMC Sierra C1500 short-bed white truck, with 215,00 miles on it. GMC is the best.

Who said that we were talking about the NEW mini?

All other, older Minis are British. The design is British. So as far as I'm concerned, Minis are still veryu much British. Simply owned by Germans.

GMC for me, but I have owned at least one of every group but honda, and I dont have anything against those. The only one of hte group I am scketchy about is chryser. Everything feels a little looser in one.
