I sure hope the Japanese make it strong enough so that a couple Boeings don't bring it down. Looks like a shitload of people would be living and working there.

I saw on the History channel that the WTC was designed to not topple from comtemporary planes of the time (707, 727, etc) but the newer 767s were too darn big.

Nope, they were built to withstand that aswell.
Just that they didnt take the heat from the burning fuel in consideration..
