i remember when 25 packs were $3.50... you could by 15 packs here in ontario, we called them 'poverty packs', they were like $3.00 when a large was like $5.00. Smoking is dumb, but i've done it for almost 13 years, i guess its safe to say i'm addicted, but i've been cutting down, and will quit this year i hope...

$10 a pack?!?! That's ludicrous! I thought half that much was robbery...

I'm a smoker and it's a completely idiotic thing to do. It's pretty hard to quit once you've formed the habit though. I quit for about three months straight at one point, but I'm back at it now. A friend of mine quit for a similar amount of time, but she is smoking again too.

They should just make the damn things illegal or something...

the goverment is supposed to be forcing the cig companies to put infected organs on cig packets to try and help ppl stop smoking. I work in a shop - i dont perticuarly wanna look at discusting pics when selling cigs.

we have that here, it shows: mouth cancer, brain tumurs, lung cancer etc... nasty stuff, and the warnings must take up 50% of the package...

i dont think those pictures had much effect on people...*cough* my dad...i cant stand being around smokers....its gross

I used to be a hardcore smoker in highschool... Two packs a day at my peak. It sucked so bad, I had no money for anything else.

I quit at the end of my senior year. Now a days I'll have one every once in a great while when I'm really stressed.

only one pack a day for me after several years of smoking. i think ive only been smoking for about 7 years.

so, does anyone know how this is legal ? i know a KILLING could be made selling cigs from state to state. you can get a pack of brand names here for about a 2 . 75, and a carton for 25 bucks. i think new yorkers pay about 60 bucks a carton ...

good. They should raise the prices so it has a 90% tax rate on it...I'd say a good $20 per pack would be reasonable cool:

yea really, i mean your actully giving someone alot of money for something, then you go home AND BURN IT UP. its got to be the biggest waist of money around right now.
