I'm only 22 and believe me, women are a strange and unpredictable species that should be studied closely but released into the wild shortly after. I agree/disagree. Work as a helper for a tradesman before you go to college. After working and sweating your ass off for a while, it becomes much easier to get a plan together. Gone are the ideas of "I'll just major in philosophy".
You will be more inclined to major in a field that pays well.

I couldn't Agree more. I was accepted for several University Programs and I changed my mind. I got a diploma in CNC Programming, I have My machinist ticket and I'm starting my millwright papers in Sept. It was the best choice I could have made. I'm building automated Assembly line in Mississauga now, I make a great wage and I geat to travel on service calls.
Not all trades are labour intensive.
