Ok, c'mon brain...I know it's early, but give it yer best shot. Here they are in somewhat chronological order:

Corey Hart (1st concert ever - 1984) rock:
Honeymoon Suite
Kim Mitchell
Haywire
Frozen Ghost
Brighton Rocks
Barenaked Ladies
Great Big Sea (I've lost count how many times)
Our Lady Peace
54-40
The Killjoys
Sandbox (with Mike Smith - Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys - playing bass...this was WAY before that show ever aired)
Summersault '00 (Finger Eleven, A Perfect Circle, The Smashing Pumpkins, Eve6, Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Gob, Our Lady Peace)
Edgefest '01 (Tool, Gob, Bif Naked, 3 Doors Down,..)
Nickelback (twice...back when they played clubs and didn't suck)
Iron Maiden (3 times...best shows ever)
Voivod
Motorhead
Dio
Arch Enemy
KISS
Skid Row
Henry Rollins (spoken word...Hank rules)
Ozzy Osbourne (w/Voivod & Finger Eleven)
The Eagles

I've seen just about all the big rock bands, in their prime, but the one guy that always blew me away was Frank Zappa.

Gotta grab Voivod's newest CD with Newsted on bass...it's fucking great!

http://www.voivod.com/album.html

"We Carry On" is an awesome tune. They rocked live too. Newsted is just too cool for words. He played his Voivod set, then played Ozzy's set! He's a machine. rock:

lol, you are newsted.

i dont think newsted is a very good bassist at all though.

Zoner 07-07-2004 03:20 PM

He stands out in Voivod. Most of Metallica's work with Newsted was at least co-produced by Lars and James...hence the guitars and drums dominate. The bass kinda gets lost in the mix.

He's virtually non-existent on "...Justice".
