bodyboarding is cool but I never really caught on to those chaps in baggy pants who try to skate...

I'll prolly get flamed for it, but I see skateboarding as somewhat immature, will you do it when you're 25? I think it's just a thing for teenagers who follow fashion. Kind of like smoking I suppose, IMHO the people I have met do it 'to be cool'. Bart Simpson is famed for the skateboard & he's 10... eek:

Skateboarders all dress the same, use similar language & try to do tricks to impress each other. I translate this as teenagers trying to be cool... Bodyboarding is more about having fun than being cool, there is certainly a fashion & a following. But the difference is everyone can go on holiday & do it. You don't see a 40 y/o businessman going down the street on a skateboard but you do see them on holiday bodyboarding.

I skateboard, I stopped for a while becuase I broke my ankle and i'm back into it, i'm always downtown skating, I also wakeboard and sometimes snowboard!
