I had all 4 out, 2 at a time. First the top two then the bottom two. No gas, just a local anasthetic. It sucks.

On my bottom, one broke off as he was trying to yank it out with the pliers, so i only had half a tooth in there. It was a bitch to get out. He had to dig around the gums with the pliers to get a good grip on the thing and heave on it to get it out.

This was probably 4 or 5 years ago. Have fun.

I got mine pulled about 10 years ago. I still remember that it sucked. They knocked me out and I woke up briefly during the procedure. Same thing happened when I tore my knee up. The worst part is that I got no painkillers after the procedure. My dad was military but I was not considered a dependent at the time so he would have had to pay. He found a free option and volunteered me to be part of a pain study at NIH (National Institute of Health). Some patients got pain medicine, some got placebo. I was one of the unlucky ones. From what I remember, the pain wasn't as bad as the feeling of having big f-ing holes in your mouth.

I had my wisdom tooth removed when I was 17. Luckily for me I only had one wisdom tooth. I think 1 out of 100 or 1 out of 1000 people only have one wisdom tooth. The dentist put local anesthesia and then just yanked it out. I just felt a lot of pressure when they yanked it out at first. Because it was only one wisdom tooth removed, they gave me no pain killers. After 2 hours thats when the pain started. It was a bitch enduring that pain without any medication.

i had 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once . i was given liquid valium didnt really feel any pain since i was knocked out but i could hear the dentist talking. its not that bad if you get painkillers .. dont drink beer or anything or you will F*CKED UP !!

As long as they arent coming in side ways (like my 2 bottoms did) you will be ok. The top ones didnt hurt and really werent a problem because they had already grew in. My bottoms were coming in crooked so they had to cut the gum open and cut the tooth out in like quarters or something like that.

Haha try having FOUR wisdom teeth pulled out in boot camp... and then forced to "sound off" and eat fast with your entire face being numb. mad:
