I still dont understand how you think the big bang is "over the top" Yet you believe a spirit, that is everywhere at one time, created every living thing on earth.

I highley recomend that each and every person experiance the power and spirtual cleansing of strong faith, it will undoubtably change your life. And as I see it the purpose and benifit is soley individual and personal.

For matters of origen and creation, we simply must explore all opinions and theories with a grain of salt. There is not a person on the planet that can properly explain or understand those questions, and I have my doubts as to whether we will ever know.

What we do have, however is science. With science we can start to understand things as fact instead of just speculation. The following are proven facts:

the Book of God

The bible as we know it was composed in the 1500's by a monk in Itally. The region, his faith, and the standards of the time ecouraged it's editing. This bible is composed of stories, written word, and folk of the holy lands people. These collections of accounts were then edited by the monk to create our bible.
These stories, folk-tales, and written words were gathered from a language that no longer existed... even then. Translation was fair at best.

Jesus

Dispite popularity, the actual existance of the savior is uncertain. Records of the day were mostly composed for tax reasons...keep in mind, this is the time of the Roman Empire and non-Roman citizens were recorded by head count...not name. So there is no written record of Jesus. The story does fit, however. The time frame and his placement in it is fairly acurate, also the inacuracies can in some cases be attributed to the "loss" of time. ie:Its 2004 "AD" not the year 118,000.


You can make of that what you like, one thing that is certain is "Evolution". This is indisputable. How it began may be a bit hazy but a natural process called adaptation is the very reason we... and all life on the planet has survived.

i love when people say that, they say "i dont believe in evolution, its too radical" or "too unproven"

but they actuallly choose to believe that a myserious, invisible being created everything, and they dont seem to care that they cant prove this at all...

You know, I guess evolution has taken place, but no I do not think we came from monkeys. I believe that God created us, just as it says in the Bible. People say you can't prove this, and maybe thye are right, but when you have a real relationship with the Lord you have these feeling of assurance. It is almost hard to explain. I just don't see how we could have came from monkeys, I mean look how sexy I am. There was never a monkey this sexy. Things are just way to complex to have evolved all own their own, just don't see it happening. My extreme sexiness is just the absolute best example.

Religion has caused war, but don't get Christianity mixed up in that. Read the Bible. The Romans, and others used Christianity for many purposes, few of them helping people.

Christianity is a religion, in fact the second most popular religion on the planet.

Did you know that Vlad the Impailer was enforcing Gods will in the mid 1400's? A man heavilly devoted to god and would later be named a saint by the people of his homeland of Romainia.

You may not know who Vlad is so here is a bit about the guy:

Vlad developed many nicknames, most notably "Dracula", but also "the Impailer." The impailer comes from his method of delivering gods will to the infidels whom saught to take his country.

He would impail his captured enemies army with tall stakes. The wooden stakes would be inserted into a victoms leg, ass, or abdomen and pushed through the body until it came out the top. This stake was then erected along the roadsides to warn enemy armies of thier possible fate. It often took several days to die.

My only point being that the number of people tortured and killed by indivduals seeking to perform "Gods Will" is great, despite which branch of Christ faith it may fall under.

Your right Zen, though I say it ver lightly when I call Christianity a religion. People have killed in the name of Christ, but what I am saying is this goes against His teachings. They were not truly preforming the will of God.

It says that after the world was created and plants, humans and animals were created all in 7 days (animals and humans on the last day i believe) Scientific EVIDENCE has found creatures (Dinosours etc) to have been alive before humans. Acording to these scientists Humans evolved after dinosours.

also scientists have scientific EVIDENCE of our ansesors (a monkey type animal).

I will admit, I do not understand, and do not pretend to understand everything in the Bible. Maybe days were measured different long ago, who knows. Maybe science is wrong, you know that is possible. As for the scientific evidence that The Duke came from a monkey, they could not give me all the money in the world to believe that.
