Voodoo Chile - By Stevie Ray > Hendrix

Lean Back (Biggie Remix)

lots of better remixs in trance jungle etc, but I guess remixs don't count.

Anything off "Garage Days Revisited" by Metallica is better than the originals.

Anything Maiden covers I like better than originals.

Type O Negative do a cool rendition of Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl".

SRV verions of "little wing" and "vodoo chile" are better thans hendrix's
along with metallica's covers of "turn the page" and "whiskey in the jar"

Filter - One
Disturbed - Shout ( the song itself isnt great, but the remake is less crappy than the original)
APC - Imagine (yes its better)

gotta disagree boss

hendrix owns with his originals of vodoo child and crosstown traffic (clapton cover) and metallica ruined seeger's turn the page. srv does a good rendition but it's not better than the orginal. whiskey in the jar (thin lizzy) i'll give you only because i can't stand thin lizzy anymore thanks to the overplay of 'the boys are back in town' .

Godsmack 12-24-2004 09:34 AM

I liked KoRn's remake of one... but I still like the original more

Arkan 12-24-2004 09:40 AM
