To put that theory into test is to bend the laws of physics that we are so bind too. Its impossible. Man cannot create a wormhole by the use of gravity. To do that we need the ability to harness the power of a super big sun and that wont happen.

Laws are there to be broken tho. A lot of what we took as impossible is noe very real. Einstein>Sagan lol

think about it. If you went back to the early 1900's and told people they would have computers they would say that that is impossible. This is but one example, and although i could go on to list a lot more of them, I really dont feel like it. It is quite possible that 50 or so years from now people will look back and say hah, i cant believe we actaully thought that and look at us now! I mean, if you told somebody in the 1980's that within 20 years we would have the capabilities to do things like cloning, stem cells, and genetic enhancement, they sure as hell wouldnt believe you.

ha, how awesome would it be if everyone owned their own solar system (galaxies being nations) almost comparable to people owning homes today. You'd have to travel light speed to your friend's house or even your neighbor. The possibilities in the future is scary to think about.

It was also said Man couldnt step upon the surface of the moon.

their were 2 ways stated in the article if you read on.

The first was a matter of wormholes etc.
The 2nd one was about shrinking space infront of you, and expanding it in behind , which meant you isolated yourself from normal space, which meant "supposedly "you could go faster.
