If that was actually made into a game with monsters, AI, effects... etc. I'm sure it wouldn't be playable on any current tech.

Think theyre gonna release that map soon for people to try out, gonna be putting a hurting on the majority of pc's id assume. ed:

sick vid (looks good, but their is still lots of room for improvement. LOTS" The engine can do so much more. Doom 3 was only the beginning. add in a revamped pyshics engine nad it has the hl2 engine beat.

Doesn't look horrible, but it still needs work. The water effects don't compare to the HL2 engine, I agree it would need a revamped physics engine to come close to HL2.

Its still a work in progress, i seen one screen where they used hl2 textures in doom3 and it looked amazing.

I think my computer just announced its unconditional surrender.

Looked a bit like blade runner to me....
