Id try that first, and if you dont get results from that, then Id go with artificial way/supplements/watever. Also, a common mistake people tend to do is excercise the same part of their body every day. What you should do is alternate upper body one day, lower body the next day, to give your muscles time to regrow. And thats about all I have to say to you, so good luck rock:

Yea i do alternate everyday. Mondays i try to work out biceps and back, tuesdays im trying to do some cardio and abs, wed i do chest and tris, thurs cardio and abs, and fri i do whatever. Can you do abs everyday? Its kind of hard to eat 6 meals a day at college though. Theres like no time to eat especially in the morning.

And i understand how wating 6 times a day in college can be hard lol, trust me, so if you cant manage it, then make sure the meals you do eat are healthy, and have lots of protien.

I walk three miles a day, do 90 sit-ups and 90 push-ups a day, plus 10 "hop-ups" (copied the work-out from Full Metal Jacket...You drop down, as in a push-up position, hop up, then drop down again..) and have the healthiest food you can imagine, because the thing is..its all I have. I dont have chips or soda...
.....and I've only lost 3 pounds since the beginning of the school-year, and have only obtained a 1/6 pack.. God damn body.

thats not that much. If you wanna lose weight, you should probably be running those three miles. and dont just do 90 sit/push ups in a row which is what it sounds like your doing. Do a set of 10-15 and do a lot of sets. And when your doing sit ups, try doing different types of crunches to work out all the parts of your abdominal region. Try to work out for at least an hour if you can.

Running: I cant run with my damn heavy backpack on. I always wear a sweater, to make me sweat, even if its hot out. (BTW . I drink water while doing it, so Im not dehydrating myself)

Push-ups and pull-ups: Thats exactly what I do. I do 30 in a row, then relax and hour or two, do another 30, then another. Not quite what you're thinking, though...

[DAS REICH] Blitz 02-09-2005 05:44 PM

You relax for an hour or two after doing 15 or 30 oOo:

Bean 2 02-09-2005 05:50 PM

Dont relax for an hour or two. Rest for a min maybe but not and hour lol.

Re: Creatine?

[quote="Bean 2":fc835]For those who work out and know about Creatine, the nutritional supplement thats supposed improve muscle growth, do you suggest using it. Ive been working out for awhile now and havent seen any drastic results. Me and a friend are considering using Creatine to help. My friend knows people that have used it and have seen improvements. Anybody here know anything about it? Possibly Arkan or you other strong blotes im sure have heard things about it.[/quote:fc835]

A friend of mine used and still does use Creatine. I honestly dont see anything different from him but I mean I guess it can change from person to person

imported_Grim_Reaper 02-09-2005 07:29 PM

there are usually specific workouts for building mass for different muscles. ive been working out, and if you do it anough you will notice a change. i dont really look bigger, but im more solid. one thing ive been told is mashed potatoes helps you get bigger so try that. but as arkan said before, proteins is what you need.

Bean 2 02-09-2005 07:32 PM

Mashed potatoes? Never heard that before but im willing to try, i love mashed potatoes.
