What I think is real cool is that with the grav.gun you can take Imps fireballs outta mid-air, and fling it back at them. Considering how many god damn imps are in the game...thats gotta be fun.

Depends on what you like i guess, doom 3 you either loved it or hated it, imo too many people were expecting it to be revoloutionary when iD stated time and time again it was gonna ba a retelling of doom on new technology.

Dunno about that, was reading that theyve toned down on the amount of monster cabinets that were everywhere in doom 3. You're meant to get more interesting stuff far quicker in the expansion as well. With the new monsters and bigger areas it should lead to more variety instead of imps at every turn.

I really think its bullshit that we don't get a co-operative mode in more pc fps games. We dont have to go through xbox live or whatever, for us its just starting a co-op game giving a friend an ip to join and boom away you go. annoy:


All the devs have to do is make it so more enemies appear and double the powerups\health packs, how hard is that really? Im sure theres more to it than that but if doom can be co-op on xbox live then the pc version should also have it.

Ya it does, you can set up a multi game having one team full of bots, and human players on the other team. Pretty pointless really seeing as the bots usually stand around scratching their ass while you puncture their kidneys with a well placed knife.
