Once you graduate and get a placement the money can be great. my fingers are crossed. Going to the Oreintation for the program on the 9th.

what are you going to study?...

Applied to York for communication studies. I had applied for image arts but dropped it because I don't feel like doing grunt production work for the time being. I hear York's full of the chinese....[/quote:795f7]

Worst personal moment= applying for University Royal Navy Officers Reserve, getting the phone call that said I didn't make it ed: annoy: cry: cry: cry:

Best moment, receiving a glowing commendation letter from them saying how well I did on the interview and that I should go and join the regulars instead cool: rock:

I graduated from the business school at UMCP in '96. The good thing about MD is you're only a couple of metro stops or 10 minutes drive from DC. That means internships out the ass and the Kennedy Center and the artsy stuff if you're into that.

yep, i absolutely loved the area. It is a great thing when you're so close to Baltimore and D.C. It just wasn't for me.

My Greatest Accomplishment is probably making it through my life and having the friends I have now because of it.

i visited hofstra, not a bad place, but the food made me sick

good luck to everyone who is waiting to find out if theyre accepted into colleges adn what not

and congrats to everyone who achieved something they didnt think would be possible

Hofstra has the highest percentage of STD's than any other school. If your top 2% of your class you can probably do better than Hofstra though.

Well my whole ordeal is about my major. I'm smart when it comes to books and I love music. Most 'good' colleges have alright music programs. Like the University of Maryland...I visited there and saw that the Music program is pretty shitty. But it's a great school for sciences and business. Hofstra is a bit expensive for me as well; scholarships..yeah yeah. But still, if I go to the state school i can save tons of money.

Like HeadUp said, good luck with everyone on the college hunt and good luck to those in college.[/quote:f04fa]

yea im at a state school. My parents couldnt have afforded it otherwise. I applied to Maryland but didnt get in. What state schools are you looking at?

Coleman 03-06-2005 08:38 AM

Penn State University and Temple. I know Temple is in such a shitty area, but they have a great music program.
