welcome to the once secret world of great beer. i just found out they have this as far south as s. carolina now. i figure in ten years it'll get to the town of san antonio, tx.

best if from a keg and keep that POS frosted mug away from me.

afternoon temp : 90 degrees
ripping a 50 year old shingled roof : 6 hours
ending the day with a yuenlging : euphoria
reading 'made in pottsville, pa' on the label : euphoria II

lol i'd still like to see it go head to head with yuengling lager.

KTOG 05-06-2005 08:57 AM

As a fellow Pennsylvanian I agree that yuengling is good, but not as good as Iron City.

elstatec 05-06-2005 09:26 AM

canadian and american beer is all piss.

stella artois uber alles. reassuringly expensive

then lowenbrau, kronenbourg etc aswell

Cethin 05-06-2005 09:37 AM

My fraternity loves Yuengling, we actually have a guy from PA somewhere who is going to get a keg of it over the summer and we're going to have a good ol time. Nothing like sitting outside on a sunny day with a good chilled Yuengling hanging out with your friends...ah...

listen to this man, he is right...

Zoner 05-06-2005 11:21 AM

Not exactly. Stella and Kronenbourg are great brews, but don't dismiss ALL Canadian beers.

Try:
Alexander Keith's
Sleeman's Cream Ale
Sleeman's Honey Brown
O'Keefe's Extra Old Stock
Black Horse (won't find this one outside of Newfoundland...pity)
