A lot of good men are going to die because of his poor leadership.

I agree with Judas, these bitches are whining and complaining like their sons/husbands/daughters/etc were drafted into this "war". eek:

....I see it differently. This war should have never happened, the majority of the world would agree. (Probably not the majority of Americans) ...But you sign up to protect your country - Not invade other peoples. Look at it this way, would you be pissed off at your government if it started a war unjustly (Even if u don't think the war was unjustified - Picture a situation where it would be to you) and then because your father/brother/mate was in the army, he was forced to go die in it? This lady is pissed off that her son had to die for no real reason - She obviously believes the war was totally unjust... I'm not at all saying I agree with her, because I don't - I think she's going about it the wrong way - But I'm just offering an explanation for her motivation.... ...She obviously disagrees with the war, but is she speaking for her son as well? If she is, then it's valid (Because she's saying stuff he never got a chance too) but still pointless. If not, then the bitch should stop ruining her son's name. |
the whole idea of being a soldier though is not questioning your orders. If you have to unjustly invade another country, then so be it. Thats the risk you take joining the army.

Her son although not agreeing with the war, couldnt just say to his CO. "Nope sorry I aint going - dont agree with the war, you can go die for this unjust reason if u want but i aint" It just doesnt work like that. I think she could have tackled the situation alot better. |

and yes, i would tell her to shut the fuk up ... and ask her if she undestands what it means for a person to enlist. it means that they are willing to sacrifice their life for the good of our country... whether that means fighting a war some people dont agree with or sitting on their ass for 4 years getting paid by the people of the united states. sorry you lost your kid, but cry about that shit in private ... making a mockery out of yourself and your dead kid isnt going to do a damn thing.[/quote:db911] She has the means and power to make a difference. I think it would be a dishonor if she decided to do nothing and accept the fate she has been given. Some will see her struggle as heroic, others see it in another light. Also is she only to blame ? I mean Fox, CNN, ABC, NBC.. have all been sucking her tit like the did with Schiavo a few months back. |
shes using her son to make a political point, and trying to make what he and thousands of other sons have died for meaningless.

....It also doesn't change the fact that to this woman, her son died for an unjust reason.... |

isn't freedom of speech one of the things Americans fight for two key points:- 1) Long live freedom of speech 2) Shut the fuck up |

He signed up, that means he has to do what he's told and potentially risk his life, no matter what the goal of the conflict is. Period.
