Or maybe they just changed it because they realized how fucking retarded the amounts of time it'd take to get some of the awards were. Another possibility is they went ahead and made it so a lot of people could get a high rank and feel like they have gotten all they wanted out of the game which may lead to a greater amount of interest in their upcoming expansion. I wouldn't doubt the second reason I gave is why they made it easier. Afterall this is EA we're talking about.

Like someone else said though, it'll die down after the majority get swapped over to the patch. The changing of rank system actually kinda sparked back my interest in the game. After hitting Lance Corporal I saw how much it would take to make it to Corporal and I knew it'd take a while so that kinda killed my want to play all the time and I just play off and on. But now that the ranks are a little closer together I've been wanting to play all day.

I killed one dude and got my LCpl promotion. Now I love my M95 happy:

That's because you can't snipe for shit. 90% of the time that I hit Mouse1 button, it says "You killed [namehere]" mwah: ... The other 10% of the time the guy is running.
