M1 Carbine = .30 (7.62x33mm) 10, 15 or 30 rounds. Muzzle velocity of 1860 fps (~ 570 m/s), effective range of about 200 m.

M1 Garand = .30-06 (7.62x63 mm) non-detachable, clip-fed only magazine, 8 rounds. 2840 fps (~ 865 m/s), effective range of about 550 m.

M1 Garand>Most modern Rifles
the Garand can punch through bullet proof glass oOo: i wouldnt want to fuck with it. Ive held an m1 def heavy, though didnt shoot it, however, i know where i can get my hands on a Kar98k, Mosin Nagant, Lee Enfield, M1 Garand and Carbine along with many others, Maine is a nice place to get guns biggrin: Kittery Trading post bitches

Surprising effective against the undead. Once you get a round in the skull, it is unlikely to have the force to exit, and so will bounce around inside, mixing the brain like a martini. Only recommended for ranged shots against individual or innumerous undead.
