I think they mean "feared" in the sense that they're the last person you would want to face in their chosen competition, you'd fear that eating azn if you had to challenge him to a eating contest.

Just saying you need to live here to see the difference. Though I have to say the younger generation (like the whatever age to like 14 or so) are actually behaving much more maturly than there 16+ counterparts. How's it any less a sport than say.. golfing? Alot more physical effort goes into skateboarding than golfing.
