you know, its wierd. i rarely ever put up away messages, i just sign off. but when i do put up away messages, even if its for like an hour, when i get back people IM me asking me 20 questions as if something just happened to me rolleyes: as if away messages without long descriptions are such an odd thing.

i have gotten into that shit with away msgs, shit ive even done it once in a while

i also use away msgs to see if ppl are doin shit tonite or if they know of anything goin on...usually works pretty well

On a side note not worthy of its own thread, I think members should be allowed to lock threads they create, you know, have adminstrative abilities in their own threrads

and you don't think with that kind of rule enforced people wouldn't abuse that kind of ability? admin like control over their own threads= editing other people's posts.
