Simo Häyhä 01-27-2006 12:19 AM

Nice choice. But as you being a military man i would have thought your sentimalities lied more toword a 1911A1. But i do suppose the USP compact IS the gun Jack Bauer carries after all

Well not just that (howeveri do love running around in my underware pretending im jack bauer happy: )

The USP compact is just a beautiful pistol, nice size. The 1911's are gorgeous but they are huge, i want something small, and HK is one of the best so. Plus the military is debating switching to Glocks or HK's rather than berettas here shortly happy: bet you didnt know that

Simo Häyhä 01-27-2006 12:25 AM

I didnt know that. Been thinking alot lately about joining the Army and becoming a paratrooper (plz leave your -=101st=- Pvt. Jackson Sn1pr jokes out plz) But idk, they are just constant in-and-out thoughts.

Milla 01-27-2006 12:26 AM

Army's new camo is so gay, i wouldn't join just for that reason.

Do it right....do it USMC style ...but we have no paratroopers, and our infantry is hardcore like ranger shit so. biggrin:

Ok, a few questions. When you shoot your GP-100, what ammo you feeding through it? Are you sticking with .357 ammo or .38? Also, what made you decide to get this gun over the Smith 686 or the Colt King Cobra?

As for my hand size, i believe it's normal but my grip seems to ride high on this gun with the factory grips.

I dont know his answer but Ill give you a good reason. Rugers Transfer bar system makes the gun safe from misfiers if dropped. The transfer bar must be raised in order for the firing pin to strike the primer. The only way to raise the transfer bar is to cock the gun (either single or dbl action) the S&W 686 has a protruding pin on its hammer so if dropped it can go off. That is why many people carry a wheel gun with the hammer resting on an empty chamber
