Cats are too unpredictable and selfish. I'd rather have a dumbass dog who is genuinely happy to see you than some surly cat who'd eat you alive if he was big enough.

the thing I dont like about dogs (other than sniffing your crotch and humping legs) is they require so much attention. Your life changes completly when you have a dog. It limits vacations and much more because they cant be left alone for a few days. IMHO they are too demanding on your time

Cats are great. Very independant, they'll come up to you for a fuss or will allow you to fuss them without them being annoyingly around you all the time. Just open the door and they'll take themselves for a walk - saving my lazy legs. My cats do some amazingly stupid things, its hillarious!

I have no preference in terms of one or the other: I like both cats and dogs...But I hate the majority of cats I meet, because they tend to be such pussies, I like cats to be very friendly and have a bit of character to them - My pussy is just like that, he's so much fun to have as a pet, and he has alot of personality characteristics and traits that a friendly dog would have...He does some funny shit, it's great.

...As for dogs, I like them when they don't smell, shed, or slober too much...Dogs can be hilarious and alot of fun to own - My family had a great dane that did all of those things and despite that he was probably one of the coolest pets I've owned, and he ran just like Scooby Doo, lol...We have a minitaure Poodle living with us at the moment, who has her moments...

i love cats, but as trip said; alot of them suck. if you get a good cat you feel like he's more of a friend, not some dumb animal that sticks to your side because he's striving for attention.
