So true. I went out to the strip the other night (was dead too, fucking summer) and I saw so many stupid shitbricks tripping all over the sidewalk and getting in peoples' way, and yelling out loud, "OMFG I can't even see straight!"
Great, nobody cares. You don't score cool points by falling all over the place because you can't hold more than 3 drinks. I drink modestly, and I know my limits. That's the way I like to drink. I've never understood the "HLY SHT d00d let's get shitfaced!!!" mentality of the frat boys at my univ. Seriously, what does it gain you? Nothing over just drinking responsibly. You'll feel like hammered shit the next morning, you'll probably fuck a beast, and you won't really remember much about the night.
I serioulsy think these people do it in hopes that people will take pictures of them with a lot of other people so they can put it on Facebook and look cool.
