[quote="Simo Häyhä":80615]what type of beer should i buy first?
In order to celebrate my 21st birthday i was thinking of some Labatt Blue..But im not much of a beer man[/quote:80615]

Cheap: MGD, kokanee

Nice: Red hook: Blonde, Rolling rock, Heinenken

Color coded for easy identification. Rolling Rock, and Heinenken are a similar beer, Heiny has a bit more bite to its taste though. Avoid mexican beers.

Considering drinking is a near daily habit, no, i have a decent tolerance. These days 4 or so an im feeling ok, 6 - 7 is wobbly, and 8+ tends to be drunk.

Airborne Butters 08-01-2006 07:26 PM

Anyone had a French Canadian beer called

La Fine Du Monde? Sorry if I messed up the translation. Really good beer at 9% alcahol.

Party beer you want to go with like Miller lite,Bud Light,etc...

Beers for having with food or just relaxing, I go with Amstel Light, Heiniken or Coors Light.

By far the most grungiest, extreme beer I ever drank was Tecate. It's a Mexican beer brewed in Mexico. I still recall my run in with this El Diablo of a brew. I walk into 7-11 and feeling like trying something new, I begin to scope out some of the more 'bottom shelf' beer. I gazed upon this colorfull box and bought it to the counter. The cashier behind the counter leans over the counter and whispers to me "you know, only Mexicans by that beer". I laugh and pay and head to a party. After shotgunning about 8 of those bad boys I felt my chest hair grow a good 6 feet and I was ready to take on the world. That was about the last concious memory I had that night. I woke up the next day cuddling the porceal crown and puking every bit of my being out.

We actually have a really cool liquor store down here called Total Wines. You guys might have some in your hood. This place has absolutely EVERYTHING you need, liquor wise. Beers from every country and hard liquors as far as the eye can see. On top of that, everything is super cheap there. At a gas station here, a 12 pack of Amstel or Heiniken is like 14-15 bucks. There it's like 10 bucks. really cool store.
