I work usually with my head and arms out of the water...but I do ahve my arms in sometimes...but my arms are what is always outside...they're outside almost everytime there is daylight...I don't usually walk outside with my shirt off.

But lets say if I spend an entire day at the beach...I will wake up almost looking identical to what I looked like before I went to the beach.

pale is the new tan.
You'd be surprised at how many Italians (myself included - mom is from Emilia-Romagna) are light. It's mostly Northern Italians, however.
