fuck that I need an lcd cos this CRT is pissin me off!

Ill fucking buy an LCD monitor when my CRT one shits out on me, as for now, it's doing me good, going strong on 3/4 years now rock:

Actually you can get flatscreen crt's, just type it into google and you'll find a load of em.

Your screen is most certainly not a flat screen, at least not in comparison to real Flat CRT's.

Flat screen literally means FLAT SCREEN! Not Flat unit.

Flat PANEL = Flat monitor IE LCD TV's

Except it does. A lot of Flat CRT's being advertised as such today are 3-5 inches deep, as opposed to the 12-14 inch deep Monitors from the 90's.

If I had to have a foot of extra space for my monitor, and then they came out with something that's only 3 inches, I would agree with them when they advertise it as flat.

Myself i own a "90's style" CRT.

A lot of the time flat screen on a crt is used to describe that the sreen is actually flat, not the unit as a whole. Look at an old TV. the glass part of it is most likley rounded. there are crt's that are rounded as well as flat on the glass surface.
