No good...feel sorry for the victims and their families.

Supposedly the gunman had a Glock 17 with 5 loaded magazines in a fanny pack. He chained some doors shut and went about shooting people.

You can see the anti's foaming out of their mouths on this one. A new wave of anti gun laws are going to result from this.

R.I.P. to the innocent victims.

Wonder if this dipshit had any kind of gimmicky attire to wear like the "trench coat" mafia.

Who the fuck would ever come up with a name like that, may as well say the flasher mafia. oOo:

Yep, I think this is going to be the final straw that breaks the camels back. The same thing happend in Australia a few years back and John Howard banned all guns.

i'd consider myself against private handgun ownership in general, but i understand that its basically only going to keep them out of the least dangerous peoples hands, fucks who want to go on shooting rampages will still have little problem getting one illegally.

Gun control basically does nothing to prevent gun crime, as you said, it only prevents law abiding people from owning guns.

RIP to the victims. Horrible thing to hear. annoy:

[quote:f0288]Steger said the first round of shootings began at 7:15 am (1115 GMT) at one of the college's dorms, West Ambler Johnston Hall, where at least one person was killed.

Two hours later the gunman opened fire in classrooms at Norris Hall and police 'immediately responded,' according to Steger.

this is really sad i watched it unfold all the way back when it was only 1 dead. A very very sad day and my prayers go out to the families affected.

Sirus 04-16-2007 02:38 PM

ya you think if there had even been one shooting earlier they would of put the whole school on lockdown with serveral police units and swat already there, especially after columbine

Jotun 04-16-2007 02:43 PM

i go to James Madison University, and VaTech is about 2 hours away...i only know one person that goes there, i havent heard anything about him. everyone who goes here knows at least 3 people that go there...everyone is worried and everyone is trying to call. the phones are jammed up and its a bunch of confusion...

kind of weird being so close to it, its really scary. my heart goes out to anyone who is affected by this tragedy...i saw a few people crying on campus today, its heartbreaking.
