Wouldn't bet on it, video card companies are renound for not dropping their prices much, normally it takes a really long time after the new cards release for the older cards to come down in price. Other times they get a slight decrease in price and they stop manufacturing the older cards, so inventory just ends up drying up.

Finished her up on Friday for the most part. Waiting for the black SATA cables to some in so I can get rid of the red. Pretty happy with the way it turned out. Will tidy up a bit more when i'm doing the SATA and also will hook up the front USB/Audio ports. Didn't realize there was an extension in the box because the wires themselves are not long enough to reach the mobo the way I want to route them, so I left them off.

Haven't had much time to tweak it at all, but Vista is working out fine for the most part. MOH Airborne and Bioshock look great with everything maxed in the demos.

They have the barcelona core coming soon but nobody really knows much about its performance. Some benchmarks showing it to score massivley in 3d mark 06 (30,000 on a 3ghz quad core with crossfired 2900's, for reference my quad @ 3.2 with overclocked 2900's scores about 17k) have been called bs by hardocp. Hardocp most likely have had some info regarding performance so theyre most likely more in the loop.

r700 is coming sometime next year (nobody knows when), can only assume it will hammer the r600 in terms of performance.
