Have to purchase orange box, at the minute though i dunno if you can still buy it and get the game early, ive seen one guy saying he bought it and got a 10% off coupon instead of the game and another saying he got the game.

I just bought the Orange Box, and I'm downloading HL2, HL2 Ep 1, HL2 Lost Coast, and TF2 all at the same time all around 500 kb/s. I paid $44.95 straight up just like it was advertised, so I assume I'll be playing TF2 soon.

Yeah you will do, if you can dload it you'll be playing it id assume.

so how do you like it? is it easier than quake wars to figure out wtf is going on?

Its pretty fun to get into, just allout mayhem in some of the map s where the enemy have to capture a point that you;re guarding by setting up sentries etc. Iys strange though that some of the weapons from the trailer aren't in this version, the demoman for instance in the trailer you see him swinging a bomb then tossing it, the bomb blows and smaller sticke of dynamtite go flying and blow up, that doesn't seem to be in the game.

Really fun game though all the same, the graphics and the taunts etc really work well together, the action is over the top and cartooney as well.

Gerv I keep getting in-game crashes. The game just freezes after about 5 minutes of play. I lowered all my graphical settings to low and it still happened, although that shouldn't be a problem as my hardware is good enough to run on max? I know others are having problems with this as well.

This game is fucking amazing, I even bought it for my mate too

Amazing - it's really the only way I can describe it.

So far I've had a hard time winning because my teams are usually full of idiots like bradboi1019293 who insist on being Sniper/Spy number 7 out of 7 while I'm trying to find a Heavy or Soldier, to heal, who doesn't think the shotgun is their main weapon.

Other than that, everything else is great. The game runs amazing on my computer at high settings and the game play is fun too. No bugs to report of either.

My mate is having the same problem so i looked on the Steam forums and theres loads of people crashing on startup. People have tried lots of things like turning audio to medium, adding commands to the launcher, etc but no fix as of yet

This is where the Beta part of it comes in I guess...

Yeah I dunno. I reinstalled the game and now it seems to only crash when somebody wins a round. I tried turning EVERYTHING off/lowest and that doesn't help. The only thing that fixes the problem is to go to your task manager and delete gameoverlay.uax

According to that huge thread on the matter, some of the people who sound intelligent seem to think it is due to a memory leak. A ton of people are having the exact same problem as I, so I'm not too worried about it.

As for the game, it's very fun. It's definitely nothing like anything I've played in the past. All of the classes are awesome, particularly spy, demo, and heavy. Heavy + medic = domination.
