Was the Garand the allies' standard weapon?
Just interested. I prefer the mauser. Reload between clips, more realistic and it makes a better sound.
I heard somewhere that the Garand jammed alot because it was semi automatic or something like that. Is theis true?
I'm very curious.

Yeah, the reloading system was unreliable without cleaning the gun often, if i remember right.

I would go for Garand because im Garand addicted, but a Mauser is the only weapon i have felt any resistance in. Its wery good and i respect axis players using that more than anything else because sometimes i know its wery hard to get a shot when some one comes charging with a Garand sending wheening bullets all around him. Axis with mausers are real soldiers! I just got beaten by some at the Destroyed Village, cool as hell!
And i agree that a unrealsitic use of snipers and bazooas filling all the maps around is destroying the exitement.
