There has been a few good questions raised about the how and why someone's IP gets added to the list. There are some incredible players who always get accused of cheating. Heck, I'm just praying for the day it happens to me. cool:
Steps need to be taken to make sure some brat admin's doesn't use this as a way of banning people who completely owned them.
My personnel experience is this will work. I think Ballbuster got this idea after someone kept going on the -=DOA=- server posing as a -=DOA=- clan member and acting like an ass. A few weeks ago Ballbuster started a topic asking people to add his ban list with theirs because of this punk using the -=DOA=- Tag. I got a copy if his banned list, and sure enough. One of the IP's on his short list, was the same IP I had banned for doing the same thing. Posing as a {MOB} member on our server and acting like a jerk.

STOP FEEDING THE TROLL...
If someone adds a reply which does advance the discussion. Just ignore it. If you reply to them personally, they keep coming back....

Actually just being an imposter (=[DOA]= or otherwise) wont
land you on the banned IP list. 99% of the time someone
who is an imposter ends up being a complete jerk off
when you ask them nicely to stop. They just get kicked
from the server them. Its when they keep coming back
and continuing ruining the game that they end up on the list

This is not a list for me or anyone else to put people
on just because they dont like someone on the server.
I will not let this list become a "Catch All" for just anyone

Thats what the "kick" button is for. The "Kick and Ban"
button is reserved for the serious idiots that plague our servers
