Running Win XP pro , TS kept hanging like a frozen rope , while in game and running Qtracker in background. Had to reboot twice Installed ASE instead and reininstalled TS . See what happens ed:[/quote:371b8]

I'll look and see if XP is causing problems on the TS boards.
If you use ASE try and set it to "dissconnect at game launch" or something like that.

TeamSpeak uses bandwidth (even if its the lowest amount between the voice comm apps) and I think leaving ASE connected uses bw too.

For the same reason its not a good idea to leave P2P apps running in the background.

I'm heading out to BestBuy tonight for a few things, can anyone tell me a good PC mic to pickup?

Jasper 08-30-2002 03:06 PM

Your guess is as good as mine buddy.

Like I said earlier, my $30 Labtech mic has issues but my 4 yr old $10 stand mic works just fine.

Try one of those lapel mics you pin to your shirt pocket or collar, that's what im using, and it works good. Made by cyber acoustics i think oOo:

I m just trying teamspeak but how do i say something

i went to setting/key settings//add then i want to have + to whisper to but in dont accept it it says no targets definded

can somebody please tell me stap for stap how to bind the keys for talking to axis and allies and...

thx

rudedog 09-02-2002 04:20 PM

By whispering your talking to someone direct, more like a one on one conversation. You need to select the person you want to talk to. They also need to be on at the time your trying to talk to them.

Just pick a key to talk, don't worry about whispering right now.

Still having this problem their working on a patch M16:

Ok today i cant do anything, tomorrow ill try to release a new patch, wich can turn on debugging on the commandline.

For the ones that have not checked, try to see is TSclient.log exists in your install dir, and if so, port it here.

Sparks to da rescue!

I think the XP lockups are the last major bug we havent worked out yet.

Bazooka_Joe 09-05-2002 08:49 AM

A lil late, but I bought the mic a few days ago, and I'm impressed with it. Ask Jasper the difference in my voice, heh.

Anyways, it's made by Labtec, and runs for $15. Pretty nice mic.

BTW: Anyone want to buy a webcam? Logitech Quickcam 3000? heh
