uh.... as opposed to a half communist Korea? what exactly would be bad if it was all communist...... that Japan would have hosted the entire world cup?
the anit-communist policy of the US was pointless but it did keep the munitions industry in business for several decades.
whatever good the US does in international peacekeeping is muted by the fact that any time they want to attack someone without the support or approval of the UN they do it anyway. they also pussy out just as well as the UN whenever it suits them...... Chechnya anyone?
